HAWAWSHI! I am cooking today one of the most classical Egyptian street food; using a super easy recipe that is lighter & tastier than any store bought alternative.

First of all, I am using lean meat which I know is not common in making Hawawshi as FAT is one of the key ingredients. But I was able to create the same juiciness of street bought hawawshi by using cream cheese & oil instead of FAT. OK! Let’s agree on something! I HATE spinach; I can’t eat it in any shape or form BUT every member of my family is a HUGE fan of spinach so I end up cooking it A LOT. Not only cooking it the traditional way but also coming up with new recipes & trying to create a homemade version of every spinach dish my husband tastes in any restaurant. I know I haven’t been posting a lot lately but since the kids took their summer break, I am literally going crazy; I lost count of days, probably even months.
