Although I am a huge fan of Asian food & I cook Chinese (specifically) not less than twice a week, I just realized that I have only one Asian recipe on my blog. How come, I don’t know! I am sorry guys, more Chinese food I promise!

If you love Beef Teriyaki, go check the recipe I posted a year ago & you will love me forever. As for now, let me tell you about this oyster sauce! It is SPOT ON; sweet & tangy yet not one of them is over powering! It sounds like a complicated sauce yet it is way too easy that you won’t believe you prepared the dish in no time.

When I have guests over & they know I am making zucchini soup, I see an immediate frown on their face! Probably what comes to their mind is the diet version of boiled zucchini in tasteless water but when I serve my beautiful phosphoric green soup & they taste it, they don’t stop.

I believe everybody should have a fool proof roast chicken recipe in their recipe book. It’s my go to option whenever I am lazy or busy & it never seems to disappoint me!

Crispy skin, juicy meat, tons of flavors on a bed of caramelized veggies! Who wouldn’t want this for lunch/dinner? Besides, the leftovers make amazing salads, sandwiches & quesadillas.

ROASTED PEPPER MUSHROOM PASTA SAUCE

Roasting has been my favorite “go to” technique for cooking veggies; it caramelizes the sugar in the veggies, creating a delicious crispy exterior with a creamy interior. Besides you get the oven to do all the work, while you indulge in the food.

Roasting peppers is a story of its own! Ever since I discovered roasted peppers & my fridge/freezer are always stacked with piles of them!

PUMPKIN FRENCH TOAST

It seems that this is the year of discovering new tastes & falling in love with them!

I hated pumpkin all my life whether sweet or savory; I just found it too bland for me. Ever since I started blogging, I noticed the hype that happens in the blog world around pumpkin season. Everybody & I mean everybody is posting pumpkin recipes all over the world! I felt the urge to give it a new try; it doesn’t make sense that all the world loves pumpkin except for me!
